Night Wing Navigation is for parents and families of children in the spotlight — including, but not limited to, child performers in film, television, theater, music, modeling, and digital media.

This work supports parents who:
  • Want to protect their child’s wellbeing while honoring their interests and goals
  • Feel unsure how to navigate agents, coaches, managers, or institutions
  • Are concerned about burnout, rejection, or identity becoming tied to performance
  • Want to make thoughtful, informed decisions that preserve family connection

You don’t need to be in crisis. You just need to care deeply about supporting your child with integrity.

This work may not be a fit if you:

  • Believe your child should push through no matter how stressed, tired, or unhappy they are
  • Are looking for guarantees, shortcuts, or someone else to tell you exactly what to do
  • Aren’t open to slowing down and looking honestly at boundaries, pace, or pressure

Night Wing Navigation is about protecting your child and your family long-term—not chasing success at all costs.
Children often communicate stress indirectly — especially in environments where achievement is rewarded. Your child or family may benefit from support if you notice:

  • Anxiety linked to auditions, games, performances, or evaluations
  • Mood shifts tied closely to success or rejection
  • Sleep disruption, stomachaches, or other stress-related physical symptoms
  • Loss of joy or playfulness around activities they once loved
  • Perfectionism, people-pleasing, or fear of disappointing adults
  • Increased withdrawal, irritability, or emotional shutdown

Parents may also notice:

  • Pressure to move faster than feels aligned
  • Difficulty setting or holding boundaries with adults or systems
  • Caregiver disagreement about expectations or limits
  • Fear that slowing down could harm future opportunities

I work one-on-one with parents, caregivers, families, and individuals, online or in person. Each session is collaborative and tailored to your needs. Sessions may include:

  • Clarifying values and priorities
  • Navigating auditions, competitions, or representation
  • Recognizing and responding to stress signals
  • Strengthening communication and connection at home
  • Exploring boundaries, pacing, and decision-making
  • Integrating practical strategies that support wellbeing

You remain the decision-maker for your family. My role is to bring both lived experience and a steady outside perspective—helping you think through options, flag common pitfalls, and make informed choices that feel right for your child.
Coaching is a collaborative process that helps parents slow down, think clearly, and make decisions that align with their values and their child’s needs. It’s reflective and forward-looking — focused on what’s happening now, what’s coming next, and how you want to show up as a parent along the way.

Consulting is more practical and experience-based. It means sharing guidance drawn from lived experience and industry knowledge — helping parents understand what they’re facing, spot red flags, and avoid common mistakes. This often looks like talking through real situations, options, and tradeoffs families are navigating in the moment.

Therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions and often involves deeper clinical work around trauma, mental illness, or psychological distress. That work is essential — and it’s different from what I offer.

Where I fit

My work blends coaching and practical guidance. I help parents think things through and share insight from experience when it’s helpful — while always honoring that you know your child best and make the final decisions.

I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. When appropriate, I may encourage families to work with licensed mental health, medical, or legal professionals as part of a broader support system.

Yes. This work is trauma-aware and developmentally informed.
While not therapy, my approach respects nervous system regulation, power dynamics, and the long-term impact of sustained pressure on children and families. Sessions move at a pace that prioritizes agency, consent, and emotional safety.

The length of engagement varies.

Some clients seek short-term support around a specific decision or season. Others choose ongoing support over several months as their child’s involvement or visibility evolves.

We’ll discuss what feels appropriate and revisit as needs change.

Outcomes vary, but many parents report:

  • Increased confidence in decision-making
  • Clearer boundaries with agents, coaches, or organizations
  • Greater understanding of their child’s emotional cues
  • Tools for discussing rejection and pressure in healthy ways
  • Stronger alignment between ambition and family values

I can’t promise what the industry will give your child. What this work supports is helping your child succeed without burning out, losing themselves, or growing up too fast.

Yes.

I also work with adult performers and high-visibility professionals navigating burnout, identity strain, boundary challenges, or the long-term effects of performance culture.

This work supports adults in reconnecting with self-trust, redefining success, and making career decisions that don’t compromise wellbeing or relationships.

Yes. The common thread is early or sustained performance pressure, not a specific industry.

This includes athletes, competitive students, influencers, and other high-achieving individuals. The same developmental risks often apply, and the same protective principles can help.

The first step is to apply. After reviewing your application, we may proceed with a consultation. This allows us to discuss your concerns, ask questions, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.

There is no obligation to continue. The goal is informed consent and mutual fit.
